About Registration

Students will be admitted to RU at any time of the year by filling in a RU APPLICATION FORM, but they will  generally report at the University at the beginning of each Semester. Some programmes may admit students at  different times or less frequently.

In addition to the minimum entry requirements, there may be programme specific requirements in respect of the mean grade, the  subject cluster or individual subjects.

A Registered Student is one who is admitted into a programme and level, assigned a registration number and paid requisite fees. Registration is done at the beginning of each semester. A registered student is assigned a Registration Number.  This number shall form part of the permanent record of the student  and shall be used in all correspondence for the student.
